HOT. ALLURING. MYSTERIOUS.
Yes, I think that’s how I’d describe Caine. He’s way more than just a hot professor. But let me tell you if HE would have been my professor I’d gotten only A’s and made sure my face and outfit is on point every single day lol!
BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE was definitely no mistake reading. I loved it. I laughed, swooned, worried, cared over the characters and their story and overall enjoyed this book tremendously. Their chemistry was undeniable and fighting it brought them only closer. Cain and Rachel are a perfect fit, I can’t describe it in any other way.
It was a long way until both realized they can’t nor want to be without the other. Both dragged some past baggage with them which threatened to destroy what they just found: each other.
“You know what, Caine? I felt unworthy of love, ashamed of things that happened in my life, regretting my choices. It wasn’t until the last few weeks that I started to realize I’m not my past. I don’t ever want to be someone’s regret. So go f#ck yourself.”
Ouch! Yeah, their past, especially Rachel’s was no pony ride and Vi captured both character’s pain and suffering on point.
This story was so much more than a romance. Vi did an excellent job weaving the past and present in this book together to keep me guessing and wondering. Adding the dual point of views towards the end of the book gave it the last touch; I couldn’t have wished for more. This is one book which will stay with me for a long time thanks to the brilliant yet tantalizing story. This is a book I’ll recommend to everyone because its characters deserve to be read and heard – one of my favorite books this year!
“God, forget peanut butter and jelly. There is no better combination than a dirty mouth and sexy suit.”
